Payment and Refund Policy
Last updated: 19 September 2026
Scope of the Policy and the Services Covered
This Payment and Refund Policy applies to all purchases of courses and related digital services offered by storyrixnu. The services include access to professional training modules on video operation, live signal management, content distribution, camera work, and the creation of high-quality feeds for news programmes and television broadcasting. The policy covers both one-time course purchases and any subscription-based access to ongoing content updates or live sessions. It does not apply to third-party products or services that may be linked from our platform.
Prices, Currencies, Taxes and Additional Charges
All prices are displayed in British Pounds Sterling (GBP) and include value added tax (VAT) at the prevailing UK rate unless otherwise stated. Additional charges may apply for optional extras such as certification, extended access periods or downloadable resources. Any such charges will be clearly shown before payment is completed. Prices are subject to change but confirmed orders will be honoured at the price displayed at the time of purchase.
Accepted Payment Methods, Authorisation and Security
We accept major credit and debit cards, bank transfers and approved digital wallets. All payments are processed through secure third-party gateways that comply with Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards. Payment authorisation occurs immediately upon submission. In the event of a declined transaction, the order will not be processed and you will be notified via email. We do not store full card details on our systems.
Order Confirmation and Formation of Contract
Upon successful payment you will receive an order confirmation email containing details of the purchased course or subscription. A binding contract is formed only when we send this confirmation. Until then, no contract exists and we reserve the right to refuse any order. Access credentials or download links are provided within the confirmation or shortly afterwards.
Cancellation Rights and Applicable Periods
Under UK consumer law you have a 14-day cooling-off period from the date of purchase during which you may cancel without providing a reason. This right does not apply once you have begun consuming the digital content, such as by accessing video modules or live sessions. To cancel within the cooling-off period, contact us immediately using the details below.
Refund Eligibility, Exclusions and Non-Refundable Items
Refunds are available for cancellations made within the 14-day period provided no substantial content has been accessed. Courses that have been fully or partially consumed, promotional bundles, and customised training sessions are non-refundable. Subscriptions may be cancelled at any time but refunds are limited to the unused portion of the current billing cycle, subject to the cooling-off rules.
Step-by-Step Procedure to Request a Refund
To request a refund, email [email protected] with your order number, full name, and a clear statement of your request. Include the date of purchase and any relevant transaction reference. We may ask for additional information to verify your identity and the circumstances of the request. Requests must be submitted within the applicable time limits.
Inspection, Approval, Rejection and Notification of Decisions
Each refund request is reviewed within ten working days. We assess eligibility based on access logs, payment records and the terms of this policy. You will receive written notification of the decision by email. If approved, the refund will be processed promptly. If rejected, the reasons will be explained together with any options for appeal or further contact.
Refund Method, Processing Time and Receipt of Funds
Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method. Processing typically takes five to ten working days, although bank transfer refunds may take longer depending on your financial institution. You will be notified once the refund has been issued. If funds have not appeared within twenty working days, please contact us.
Special Rules for Digital Content, Subscriptions and Promotional Offers
Digital courses are considered consumed once streaming or downloading begins, removing the right to a full refund after the cooling-off period. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date. Promotional offers and discounted bundles are subject to the same eligibility rules but may carry additional restrictions clearly stated at the time of purchase.
Failed Payments, Duplicate Charges, Chargebacks and Suspected Fraud
In the case of failed payments we will attempt to notify you and provide an opportunity to complete the transaction. Duplicate charges will be investigated and refunded where verified. Chargebacks are treated as disputes and may result in suspension of access pending resolution. Suspected fraudulent activity will be reported to the relevant authorities and may lead to permanent account termination.
Mandatory Consumer Rights That Cannot Be Excluded
Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 or UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. These rights include remedies for faulty digital content and the right to receive clear pre-contract information. We will always honour these legal entitlements even where our commercial policy is more restrictive.
Contact Route, Policy Changes and Last-Updated Date
For questions about this policy or to make a request, please use the contact form on our Contacts page or email [email protected]. We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in law or business practices. The current version will always be available on our website and the last-updated date will be displayed at the top of the page. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
